Devastating aftermath of Dagenham fire where 14 houses were destroyed
The scale of the devastation caused by a fire in a meadow in a
residential area of Dagenham has come to the fore.
More than 130 people had to be evacuated yesterday after a wildfire
broke out in Beam Parklands and spread to nearby residential streets.
The smoke caused two people to be taken to hospital, but fortunately,
no one was killed in the fire, which sent more than 100 firefighters to the area.
However, 14 houses and 25 vehicles were completely destroyed in the fire, while others were seriously damaged.
